The email address you are signing up with must be linked to your YouTube channel and you need to be a channel owner in order to link a YouTube channel to your Lickd account.
If you’re a channel manager and are going to be the only person licensing tracks via Lickd for the channel, then usually the best and easiest thing to do is ask the current YouTube account owner if they'd make you an owner as well. (You can have multiple owners on a YouTube channel).
Then you should be able to add it to your Lickd account!
Just be aware that only one Lickd account can connect a YouTube channel at any one time.
If multiple people need access to get licenses for the channel then we recommend to:
- Create a new, shared Google account
- Have a channel owner add that Google account as a channel owner.
- Sign up to Lickd with the new, shared Google account and add the channel.
- Then share the Google account details with anyone else who may need access so you can all use it to log in to Lickd and license tracks for the channel.
