Don't panic! A copyright claim on your video is normal and can happen due to:
- You've purchased a 'Claims-Managed' track which means we need to manually review your video and clear the claim.
- YouTube’s Content ID system identifies a similar track and files a claim on that content owners’ behalf.
- The video was saved as a 'Private' draft during upload, preventing our VOUCH software from acting.
- The channel ID listed on the EULA is not the same as the one to which the video was uploaded - this will cause VOUCH to declare the license invalid as it doesn’t recognise the channel.
So let's get you sorted! First things first...
- Only just uploaded your video? At the point of uploading your video to YouTube, don’t worry if you see a 'Copyright Claim Found' warning... this is normal!!
-
The majority of claims in YouTube Studio will automatically be cleared within 30 minutes by our VOUCH software.
- Please also double check you've uploaded your video as 'Unlisted' and included the correct music attribution in your video description.
- YouTube Studio will update once this has been resolved, and you'll also receive an email notification from us.
If you're still experiencing issues after 30 minutes (or have an incorrect copyright claim), please DO NOT dispute it! Please follow these simple steps on how to get in touch with our team
