When you Sign Up to create an account with Lickd, we ask you to connect your YouTube channel, however you can skip this stage and create a Lickd account without connecting your channel.
If you would like to use one of our included licenses, or purchase a premium license you must connect your YouTube channel.
We ask for your YouTube channel for two main reasons:
1. To prevent and clear any copyright claims on your videos. Our claims clearance software, Vouch will be able to link that you have a valid license and make sure any claims on your video are cleared.
2. To make sure you pay fairly for a premium license. We look at your average views per video to determine the price you pay per license so smaller creators don't pay superstar prices.
